Ranu Mukherjee is an artist making work underpinned by a neo-futurist perspective and identification with an expanded body. Her hybrid films, textiles, works on paper, and performed projects probe ways that contemporary life is shaped by creolization and nomadism. Mukherjee is the assistant chair of the MFA Program at California College of the Arts, and is represented by Gallery Wendi Norris, San Francisco.
Mukherjee was an instructor in FOR-SITE’s education program in 2014.
