Overview
The FOR-SITE Foundation’s artist residencies, education programs, and fellowships are designed to support artists in creating new work that dynamically addresses various aspects of place. Residencies and courses take place on a 50-acre site near the historic town of Nevada City, California. Although the site itself is not open to the public, much of the work produced in the residency program has been presented in exhibitions at partner institutions, bringing the artists’ projects into the public realm.
